A local organization with deep roots in Arusha and one conviction: the future is built through education.
Founder & director
Samson Mbise
Meet Samson Mbise, a tour guide from Arusha whose face is always full of smile, love and passion. Convinced that education is the true key to success, in 2017 he began welcoming street children into his own home — eight children at first.
As more children arrived, his house became too small. So between 2019 and 2020 he rented a small two-room building in Meru and formally founded the Fortune Kids and Education Foundation, keeping the children together so they could grow up as one family.
In the beginning Samson funded the home with part of his modest salary as a tour guide. Today the foundation lives on thanks to donors and friends who believe, like him, that every child deserves a future.
