GENDER, WOMEN RIGTHS & EMPOWERMENT

Tanzania has adopted policies that advance gender equality in a supportive enabling environment.The legal and regulatory framework and the sector-specific policies of government and independent departments, however, have yet to be aligned with these policies. Women face abondoment, abuse and exploitation.

FKEF work in the following area:
1. Stop Gender-based Violence everywhere in Tanzania
2. Women Health and infant Care
3. Vocation and business training
4. Provide seed loan and financial support to women enterprises.

YOUTH ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT
FKEF mandates is to support Tanzania Youth
for the growth and general success of youth-owned enterprises. We do so
through:
1. Provide loans to youth owned enterprises
2. Provide market support to youth enterprises
3. Facilitate youth enterprises to develop linkages with big enterprises
4. Provide trading networks, premises and worksites
5. Provide business development services to youth owned enterprises
6. Facilitate youth exchange programs abroad.
