Do you feel like to giving back to community? Why don’t you join our effort in bringing the necessary changes in the world? While travelling and doing safari in Tanzania with your company Show love to Orphans Safaris you can also do volunteering with different projects in Tanzania.
We believe that any one can give back to need community by volunteering regardless the background of his/her professionalism. It would be much better if you have professional in teaching, Agriculture, Nurse, web designing, childcare giver, tourism management and many more. Please let us know if you are keen to work in Tanzania or stay with local people and understand their culture, language, or an environments after sign out from Serengeti, Ngorongoro,Tarangire,or Mt Kilimanjaro.
VOLUNTEERING IN ORPHANAGE CENTER:
Be a part of the children’s journey towards developing, learning and growing. Become a support and security; a big brother or a big sister. You as a volunteer have an important role and that is just to be there for them.
Give them love and once again love because one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself and the children is to volunteer.
Volunteer duties:
- Teaching in one of our classes
- Help the children with their homeworks
- Support during mealtime
- Play with children
- Organaizing games and other acitivites
- Coaching children in different sport actvities
- Homevisiting
- Help the children with their personal hygiene
- Assist with cooking, washing and laundry
- Create new ideas and plans for development
VOLUNTEERING IN NKOARANGA ORGANIC FARM:
For five years we have been working and partnered with local expertise to make sure that we are growing enough organic crops for supporting our projects at FKEF. The types of crops are bananas, coffees, maize, beans, and carrots. Our goals are to feed the kids from our community and to reduce the level of going to market to buy everything in our day to day consumption.

We have another unique program for volunteers who are interested to work in the organic farm.
Not only this but we have a connection to Hospitals for Nurses volunteers and others who are looking forward to work in solar energy projects in the rural area in Arusha region.
Maximum working hours are ONLY 5 hours a day. We don’t work at weekends but rather have a very fascinating program to visit in Masai village, hiking, safari and other outdoors.
MEALS AND ACCOMMODATIONS:
There are various options for accommodation according to how volunteer would like it to be. Our mean is always considering both vegetarians and non vegetarians.

• Hostel and a few spaces in the project center.

FREE TIME ACTIVITIES:
During weekends and a national holiday in Tanzania that is your private time to go out in Arusha, go to Masai village for cultural exchange, Safari and visit hot water spring in Moshi. Also if you like physical exercise there’s a gym room. You can also decide to do a mountain bike for your own leisure.
LANGUAGE SPOKEN:
Swahili and English language is the most spoken language in the school, while most of the kids and other people in the village speaks Swahili much compare to English

VISA:
Your Volunteer VISA should be obtained from the Tanzania embassy in your country. It sounds a bit cheap when you have your Tanzania VISA in your country but you can also obtain it in Tanzania airport upon arrival. It will cost you $250 US dollars with 90 days validity.
